Neon colours were all over the SS12 catwalks, and
featured either as full and slightly headache inducing outfits or on
accessories, which were undoubtedly a lot easier on the eye!
Although neon colours are commonly associated with the 80's and it’s rather garish fashion trends (yes puffy jackets i'm talking about you!), 2012 has seen a more wearable take on the trend with cute satchels. skinny jeans and neon florals.
It's a fun trend and not one for the faint hearted.
However that's not to say that those of you who are less daring with their
choice of trends can't indulge in a bit of neon.
For example if
you’re unsure of the trend try a neon belt or neon nail varnish, whereas those of you that are more confident can be
quite full on with a pair of neon jeans or a jumper.
For the record, as much as I love the neon trend its
important to stress the fact that you should never wear one of those hideous
neon tutu’s for anything other than a fancy dress party.
